Ash Arnett is an accomplished leader in creative craft, culture, and strategy, specializing in design for communications, identities, information visualization, and brand experiences.
He founded design consultancy Matter in 2002 (recognized by Seth Godin as a “purple cow” innovator), and previously held creative leadership positions at Sapient, Merge Design, and White Wolf Publishing. Ash graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design after studies in linguistics drew him to semiotics then the visual arts.
Ash has received awards and recognition from such outlets as Communication Arts, How, Print, Graphic Design USA, and The American Institute of Graphic Arts. A guest speaker in numerous conferences and classrooms, he has served on the Board of AIGA and IGDA in Atlanta, and the Editorial Review Board for design journal Multi.
